High-Performance Weighing Electronics Enabling Precision Measurement and Process Automation

Minebea Intec transmitters and controllers ensure high-speed, stable signal processing.

Features

Weighing Electronics — Precision Signal Processing & Control

Weighing electronics are the core components that convert raw signals from load cells and industrial scales into accurate, actionable weight data for display, control, and system integration. They evaluate, calibrate, and transmit measured values to operators or higher-level control systems, ensuring reliable weight results for industrial processes such as batching, dosing, vehicle weighing, and container measurement.

Minebea Intec’s broad portfolio of weighing electronics addresses diverse application needs — from simple weight transmitters and indicators to advanced programmable controllers with extensive interface options. These devices connect directly or via junction boxes to load cells or scale platforms, processing analogue and digital signals with high precision. Depending on the product, weighing electronics also support calibration, smart diagnostics, automated control functions, and system networking for quality assurance and production transparency.

Types of Weighing Electronics

Weight Transmitters

Transmitters such as the Link E and PR 5220 receive signals from load cells and output precise weight values to PLCs, SCADA, and control platforms. These units often include network-ready interfaces, touch displays, and intuitive configuration tools like SmartCal for fast setup and integration.

Weight Indicators

Indicators such as X3, X2, Midrics, and Combics® provide clear digital weight display, local control, and basic process functions. Indicators support fill, count, and checkweighing tasks while offering configurable inputs/outputs and interface options for peripheral devices.
